PORTRAITS various publications

For many of the assignments I have shot, environmental portraits have been a mainstay where editor's needs are concerned. Additionally, portraiture has served to help tell stories in personal work as well. Here then, is a selection of images that resulted from both editorial requests and my own interest in providing a visual record of the people I have met and the places I have visited. More often than not, success in shooting portraits results from an interesting subject, a visually descriptive backdrop, and some beautiful light.
