SPORTS various publications

Over the years I have shot a number of sports stories and, much to my liking, the types of sports I have covered have been more off-beat than the typical ball-based pastimes. Mountain boarding, mountain bicycling, landsailing, Navajo boxing, Navajo rodeo, disabled skiing, ski jumping, and the like have maintained my interest in the genre. In earlier years many of these sports assignments were shot for National Geographic World, National Geographic's former children's magazine. Before that I spent a few years working for various bicycling publications. In more recent times two fly fishing assignments, my son's soccer team, and a chance visit to some Peruvian sand dunes have added to my selection of sports images.
